Let go of attachment, not your dreams and love

by April 14, 2013 2 Comments

I have been hearing about the importance of “letting go” in many quotes and spiritual literature. At the same time I real life people only talk about “letting go” in the context of “moving on” after a relationship or something goes sour. I feel there is a huge disconnect in the power of the concept and how people see it. Most of us, equate “letting go” with giving up, giving up on our dreams, giving up on our love.

In reality the true “letting go” concept empowers you to fulfill your dreams and love.

Dynamics of Attachment

When we are attached to something, a person or an outcome, we tend to push around based on what we “want and need”.  We tend to be self centered and less creative because have a notion of how things should work. We do not have faith in “better possibilities” we only have this childish insistence that things be a certain way.

The Universe is very benign and immensely creative in fulfilling our needs – if only we can let go and give it some room to be creative. So why give it room? Here’s how it works!

The Universe is this kind father who fulfills all the wishes of his children. The only two rules the Universe follows are:

  • it gives in the order of faith one has; more faith you have more likely your wish will be put on the top of the list
  • that your wishes do not go against other’s wishes (you see a father can not displease any child)

Power of letting go

Letting go of attachment to the outcome, and focusing on maintaining your faith in your wishes – give the Universe the necessary room to find magical ways to fulfill your wishes. Please understand that letting go is not leaving or giving up, it is being there without attachment and suffocating expectations. Expectations of yourself, others and the Universe in fulfilling your wishes in your way on your schedule.

Once we truly let go, we become easy to deal with, we flow better, our mind opens up to new creative and more effective ways to be happy and let others be happy.  When we “cling” we are restrictive, rigid, and totally non-creative.  How can one expect better results in that kind of scenario?

Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is necessary to be creative best.

Master fear to be Love

When we first start to learn of “let go” many of our deep seated fears will start coming out.  Will he leave me? Will my business fail? What if I can not find this kind of love again? Do I have to give up who I am for what I want? and so on.

If we give into these fears we go down the hole of “clinging on”, if we maintain our inner calm and faith, we are actually letting things go (not giving up) and making room for magic in our life to happen.

This process of fears emerging and us dealing with them will continue until we reach a state of fearlessness around our dreams and love.  Once we reach that stage magic will start in our lives. Try it! It works – I have experienced it many times in many areas of my life!

Let go, and let magic unfold.
