“I don’t want to dream because I will be disappointed if they are not fulfilled” an employee of mine said recently. And my impromptu response was but last I checked there is no tax on dreams so why not dream?
Other things I have heard are:
“Dreamers are impractical people who live in their own world”
“Why dream when I don’t have the capability to make it happen”
“Be realistic”
“Life is tough, I can dream when I am out of the mess I am in now – let me just survive now”
“I am too busy – don’t have time to do or think of anything else”
The list goes on and on. So who thought us these things? And why are we such experts at limiting our potential. What great things were ever achieved by surviving and not having dreams.
Forget the naysayers, forget the financial and other constraints of now. Go beyond not wanting something and ask for something to be a certain way. Don’t worry if your dream is simple dream or larger than life and an almost impossible dream.
Dream anyway – as dreams have a power of creating energizing not just you but everyone around and go beyond the realm of today’s possibilities. Dreams have power to create new possibilities, to attract helpers, attract money, attract resources and supporter from all quarters. Attract whatever it is that is needed to fulfill the dreams.
All you need is a dream.
A beautiful quote in this regard is there in the Alchemist and also..
Robert Fritz- Path of least resistance.. something like..
‘If you compromise on what you deeply want, you never have the same enthusiasm because the human spirit will not invest itself in a compromise’
Very true….what is life without dreams….Bravo Anil…
